Fuego Schedule of Events for February
February 1, 2005, (Laredo, TX):
As the Laredo Heat prepares for their official upcoming season they are making sure that no one gets left behind. The Laredo Heat Soccer Club is committed to being involved in the community they love so much, and are continually working hard to make Laredo proud. The Laredo Heat will have a team together after their February try-outs, but until then Fuego the mascot has stepped up to the plate. Recently Fuego made a special appearance at the Laredo Bucks Kids Day to meet with his good friend Bucky, and enjoyed it so much that he will be out and about for the whole month of February. The following are a scheduled list of appearances for Fuego and friends:
Saturday February 5, 2005 - Women's City Club Steak Plate Sale @ Dr.Ikes 11:00- 2:00
Monday February 7, 2005 - Sacred Heart Children's Home @ 3:30 p.m.
Wednesday February 9, 2005 - Doctors Hospital @ 2:30 p.m.
Thursday February 10, 2005 - Kazen Elementary TAKS Pep-rally @ 9:30 a.m.
Monday February 14, 2005 - Ligarde Elementary HOSTS Reading @ 10:00 a.m.
Tuesday February 15, 2005 - Taste of Laredo @ LEC 7:00 p.m.
Thursday February 17, 2005 - Milton Elementary TAKS Pep-Rally @ 2:00 p.m.
Friday February 18, 2005 - Jalapeno Festival
Saturday February 19, 2005 - Jalapeno Festival
Tuesday February 22, 2005 - Sports anchor try-outs
