Laredo Heat ousted from playoffs

EL PASO The Laredo Heats 2005 Premier Development season finished with a 2-0 loss to the Mid-South division champion and playoff host El Paso Patriots Saturday night at Patriots stadium.
The Patriots were crowned the Southern Conference Champs with the win.
Laredo wraps up its first PDL campaign with a 10-8 record and El Paso (12-3-2) moves on to the National Semi-Finals where they play the Western Division champion next week.
The Patriots defeated Laredo in all three of their regular season match-ups by a combined score of 13-3.
The Patriots Daniel Frias had scored five times against Laredo coming into the contest.
He added two more to his tally with goals in the 18th and 22nd minute for a 2-0 lead at the break.
