Heat loses in El Paso

EL PASO The Laredo Heat has gone winless against the El Paso Patriots, losing on Saturday 4-2 in overtime at Patriot Stadium.

Laredo lost their first game against El Paso 2-1 in Laredo also in OT and got thrashed 7-0 on Friday.

The Heat (4-3, 12 points) tied it at one in the second half on a goal by Cole Brittney.

Juan de Dios Ibarra scored the other goal in the second overtime.

The Patriots (6-0, 18 points) clinched a spot in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup with the win.
