El Paso stops Laredo Heat; game tonight

EL PASO - The Laredo Heat and El Paso Patriots tangle again tonight in Premier Development League soccer action.

Kickoff is at 8:30 Laredo time at Patriot Stadium.

The two teams, two of the best in the PDL, played on Friday night. El Paso built a 3-0 halftime lead and whipped the Heat 7-0.

After tonight, Laredo has four straight home games at the SAC beginning with June 3 against Nashville and June 4 versus Memphis.

The Heat then hosts Dallas-Fort Worth on June 10-11.

The rest of the June schedule:

17-18 - at New Orleans.

25 - at Rio Grande Valley.

30 - Exhibition vs. Chivas de Guadalajara (second division), SAC.

In July:

9 - Exhibition vs. Tigres de Monterrey (second division), SAC.

16 - Austin Lightning, SAC.

22 - at Memphis.

24 - at Nashville.
